Episode 2: Turbo Grafx 16 & PC Engine, Everything You Want To Know

In this Episode of All Gen Gamers Pete, Gamester, and Johnny are joined by none other than Chris Bucci (AKA spida1a), creator of the popular "Turbo Views" show on YouTube. Chris is a Turbo Grafx expert with incredible knowledge for the system and it's games, owning a complete library of every released US TG-16 title. We discuss the history behind the Tubro Grafx, the different system models available, and personal favorite games. Later in the show we are joined by our surprise second guest Luke Morse (AKA lukemorse1), who resides in Japan and gives us his insight on the PC Engine. Eventually everyone begins to reminisce about their love for TV shows out of the 80's and 90's, we discuss the games we have been playing, and answer some of the questions our listeners sent in. Love the new podcast series guys! Have listened to both of them and am digging the video game talk and like when you guys bring in your other interests too. Like Pete said at the end of the second podcast, I've been downloading the podcast and listening to it in parts. The more quality content the better as far as I'm concerned :). Such a great mix of personalities and an immense amount of knowledge and passion you each bring to the podcast.
Plus bringing in different youtube channel creators is absolutely brilliant! Broke out my old SNES while listening to the podcast and was playing some Castlevania IV while you guys were talking about Castlevania for the PC Engine. All in all I'm just really impressed with your commitment to creating an online community for gamers that is so earnest and accessible to game fans like myself who play games across all platforms. Hence all Gen Gamers!
Curious what your take is on the renaissance of 2D games? As like Chris Bucci was saying, I have a special nostalgia for 2D games and am very encouraged by this new look back on 2D games and hybrid 2D/3D titles. Are there any titles coming out that you are psyched for? Thanks again for creating these podcasts as they are a ton of fun to listen to!

This is the first podcast I've ever listened to.
I can't stop smiling while listening.
I'm not gonna lie I have never played retro games
But after listening to you guys I really want to get started
I like your podcast because it really does feel like a group of friends talking about the games they love
and I know this may sound lame but I'm still in highschool, I don't have many friends
but this podcast makes me feel like when I'm with my two bestfriends playing the n64 in my basement a few years ago, before I had even heard about playing games online
This podcast has become important to me
I don't mind the length of the podcast because I found myself wanting more after the first one

I've to admit that I've been a Turbo Grafx fanboy ever since the beginning. Though it never did get the same following as the Sega or Nintendo systems, I've had some good times with that console.

Great stuff guys. I just bought a PC-Engine DUO-RX and I love all the LOVE for this underrated system. The Turbografx was a console that I didn't respect at first until I was much older, and now, I love the system. Great stuff gents!!
